can anyone advise me on which kuta area/street most centralised and liveliest?once i know it%26#39;s easier to choose hotel to suit my family of 4 to stay around there 7 days in coming months.thanks.
kuta most centralised street? The main street is Jalan Legian and it%26#39;s pretty busy and lively. Not sure it%26#39;s really suitable for a family though it%26#39;s really a young person%26#39;s area with bars and nightclubs open till the early hours and pretty noisy. If you want to stay in Kuta, I could suggest Dewi Sri Hotel. It%26#39;s down a lane off Jalan Legian and near the Kuta memorial. Haven%26#39;t stayed there for a few years, but when I did, it was OK. Nice gardens, good rooms, good breakfasts and a pool. A lot of young Aussies stay there.
kuta most centralised street?try kuta town houses .we have just stayed there 18 nights fantastic hotell as new in poppeys lane one kobrob .
Hi Kevin, you will find lots of lively streets in Kuta. The Poppies Lane 1 and 2 are where the backpackers hang out. There are lots of good restaurants and shopping there too. If you are with your family, would suggest the Karthika Plaza Rd. There%26#39;s a big aircon shopping centre for the kids to escape to and restos and street side shopping as well.
Try the Santhika Hotel. Otherwise there are some write ups available at
www.itravelindonesia.com/tubanHotels.html or

May help you decide if you are a 1st timer to Bali.
Cheers!!!
