New Holiday Inn Baruna

Hi Guys,

Just thought someone might be interested the old Bali Hai now the Holiday inn Baruna in Tuban is opening in March 09 or suppose to and they are taking bookings now. A few wholesalers in Aust have them on their books about $210 aud per run in room.

Good spot though and it looks really nice.

Perhaps next time.

Hi Everyone,

Just back from a guided tour of the hotel. As previously mentioned on the forum in a post, the Soft Opening is due to take place in middle March, they are accepting guests at this time,but not all the facilities will be ready.

Grand Opening in JUNE.

All New Staff.

Room rate quoted in USDollars.

There are (9) different room types.

These include,Poolview rooms,Superior rooms,Family suite and Kids Suite with bunk beds for the children.

Room we inspected was very smart/casual and nicely furnished,Flat screen TV,DVD,Iron and ironing board in each room.Bathrooms in rooms have part/glass window which over look into the bedroom from the shower.

There is one restaurant, which will cater for Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner.Bar by the beach will open at sunset and close around 2am (apparently similar to KU DE TA.)A Kids club for children under 12yrs of age, there is a cost to use.

Spa is not ready as yet.As you walk out to the pool there will be an ice creme bar called %26#39;Flaz%26#39;.

The pool looks the same as when it was Bali Hai, pool bar still in place, re tiled and off while/creme large pavers surround the pool area and are laid throughout the grounds.

An Arrival/departure lounge for late check-out where you can shower,and enjoy food and drinks.

A guests laundry and there is a cost to use this.

The shell of the %26#39;old%26#39; Bali Hai has remained so the resort still has the Balinese feel to it, but now with modern touches as the rooms and grounds have undergone the renovations.The foyer looks great.

No brochure available with room prices.
