Sanur Beachfront Budget Accommodations

Hi there, I was planning to stay in Sanur this April.

I%26#39;m searching for budget accomodations at the beach front or near to the beach, preferably around 500m (5 minutes walk).

My budget is around $20 - $40 per night. Any recommendations?

I%26#39;ve been thinking about Puri Sindhu Mertha Suites. Does anybody know how close it is to the beach?

Made%26#39;s Pub on Jl. Tamblingan is just what you want. Cheap, very clean, only 18 rooms, lovely garden and pool, restaurant and bar at the front. More like a home than a homestay. Staff are excellent and the beer is COLD.

You could take a look at Palm Gardens, a couple of mins walk to beach. Haven%26#39;t stayed there yet but Snooky has had a look around the property %26amp; gave it the thumbs up for good, clean budget accomodation.

354,000 a night in high season for twin/double room, probably less in April

It%26#39;s in south Sanur not very far from the Hyatt.

yes palm garden is a good budget choice to consider. it is a 1 minute walk to the beach. in the same street ( JL kesuma sari) is stana puri gopa. this is a lovely family owned hotel. well kept gardens, nice pool decent breakfast, friendly staff. have stayed in a deluxe room facing the pool. some standard rooms are upstairs and have an ocean view.

sanur beach villas is further south and good. check their web site.

you could also e mail villa puri ayu, their rates are cheaper than those listed on their web site.

pondok ayu may fit your price range (not sure of new prices) this gets great reviews but it is a little further from the beach. still worth considering.

swastika bungalows is also in your price range. had a look here but have never stayed.

there is a cheap homestay which may be suit as well.

flashbacks also has a couple of rooms in your price range. i can%26#39;t remember which room number i checked out but it was clean and adequate.

I would definitely mention the Puri Gopa http://www.stanapurigopahotel-sanur.com/ppc/ We stayed there in December and was just what we wanted to experience the Balinese hospitality. The beach is just a minute away and some great restaurants close by and also an ATM just across the road. Staff very helpful. I wrote a report here on Tripadvisor - have a look at it.
