roughly how much is the cost of medium class lunch and dinner at Pdg %26amp; BktTggi restaurant. This is my first time to go there in this mid Dec.

Is it ok if I deal directly through travel agent there? any risk?

A Minang restaurant charge you by pieces or per plate.

Depends on how many pieces or plate you had eaten,they then bill you accordingly.

No problem dealing with travel but suggest to pay upon arrival and not in advance.

in Padang and Bukittinggi most of Padang Restaurant for lunch and dinner not too expensive, for example if you take away ';Nasi Bungkus'; only IDR 10.000,- fill in rice, vegetable, and 1 chicken/fish/beef.

if you eat in the restaurant, mr leopang is right, the will serve many kind of food in many plate, and you can pay only with the food you eat.

you can deal with travel agent here, many of them, I recommend you should know the address and detail of the travel agent company, or you can us some friend to recommend the good of travel agent.

in desember most hotel in Padang and Bukittinggi are fullybook, I think you have booked the hotel.

i am planning to travel to padang this 14 March till 17 March with kids.

I need airport transfer to n fro, hotel booking with breakfast, land tour, preferably staying in bukit tinggi n lake meninjau. I prefer to eat out on our own to taste the local delights.

Padang is not a good place to stay and for sight seeing.

Stay at Bukit Tinggi or around Lake Minanjau.

in west sumatera at least have 150 company for Tour and Travel, most of them focus on ticketing, and only some Tour and Travel who can organise Tour Program.
