can anybody plase tell me if the bali hai has reopened yet. it has been closed for 18month and was to open up in feb 09 cant find anything out about it. don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s changes it%26#39;s name it right down the end of kuta beach going towards to airport. have had many wonderful times there and i was just wondering

The old Bali Hai is now the new Holiday Inn Baruna. It was to open on the 1st of March, not sure if it did though, when I was there a couple of weeks ago I thought they would be pushing to get it finished by then. All looked really lovely though. Maybe just have a look on the Holiday Inn website.

We too have enjoyed many wonderful sunsets there. We%26#39;ve booked for June this year. They%26#39;re currently advertising a soft opening in mid March. Its a lot more expensive than it used to be, but then all good hotels in Bali have gone up significantly. They%26#39;re currently running opening specials on their web site

Another hotel you may enjoy is the Harris Resort in Kuta. A lot of their staff transferred there when the BaliHai closed as they are managed by the same company, Tauzia.
