hi everyone.

has anyone had a leather jacket made in ubud?

my wife would like a jacket made when we come to bali in april and as we are spending 8 days in ubud it would suit us to get it there.

i have been given a few tailors by other people who have been to bali, but they have all been in kuta.

I don%26#39;t know of any leather makers in Ubud, but I do know of a fabulous leather shop in Kuta. It%26#39;s called Jermyn Street and it%26#39;s in Poppies 1 Lane in Kuta. I have had many jackets made here for myself and some friends and they are fantastic!!! Beautiful, soft leather, great workmanship and cheap, cheap!!! I can highly recommend them.

We always use a leather shop in Poppies Lane II, the name is something like ';Rambutan'; and is right next door to Liza Tailors. Everything we have ever bought or had made there has been excellent quality and prices are great too.
