Ubud accommodation

Planning a stay of up to 4 weeks in Ubud in June/July and would prefer a small house for rent. Can anyone recommend somewhere?

If we can%26#39;t find the right place we are thinking of one of these: Gusty%26#39;s Bungalows on Jl Kajeng; Sayong House just off Jl Dewi Sita; or Jati Bungalows on Jl Hanamon would anyone like to share their views on these or other homestays. Your advice would be appreciated.

Ubud accommodation

the first two you have written down are hotels rather than a small house.

but i would recommend staying at one of them till you found the house that you liked.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry my o.p. wasn%26#39;t clear. If we can%26#39;t find a good value small house then we will use a homestay, such as those I enquired about. Although we lived in Ubud for a year and know many homestays we do not know Gusty%26#39;s and Jati and we were hoping for some inside information (or warnings!)

hi popnorm

i%26#39;ll be ther in april and back about mid may. send a message and i%26#39;ll let you know about gusti%26#39;s. RT

Jati%26#39;s is okay, quiet as it is not directly on Hanoman.

Bali Putra has bungalows to rent by the month or longer. It is down by the ';S'; curves on Hanoman, near Pizza Bagus. Two-story bungalows have kitchen, (Indo) tv, 2 bdrms, tiny garden, balcony etc. It is a short walk in the paddies (or what%26#39;s left of them!) to the road and several restaurants and a convenience store nearby. They quoted me 4.5 duta inc tax a year ago. It%26#39;s a pretty good deal and place is v popular and fills up fast. I was looking to rent for this year.

Phone: 62-361-973-349. (Technically it%26#39;s on Jl Raya Pengosekan)

There are a lot more villas to rent in Campuan but that is farther out and you need transport to go anywhere. And as you know, any guesthouse/homestay will quote you a cheaper monthly rate.

Thanks Tebesaya for the tip. Will look it up. It sounds like Bali Putra is behind the ARMA museum, which is a pretty good area.

BTW do you have a connection to the Tebesaya banjar?

We are four ladies travelling together and have booked Bali Hideaway in ubud. A private house with staff included. Google that name and you will get their website. Costing us $1000AUS for 4 nights so maybe a little expensive. Ok for us as we are splitting it 4 ways
