hi, we are in Ubud at the moment. Please help to find a ATM where we can draw 3,000,000Rp. Went down the road today, and all atm%26#39;s only allow 50,000Rp. I believe the banks are closed until Monday. thanks.
help where to find atm's ubud, kuta and sanur for large sum
You%26#39;re in trouble. Most ATMs will only allow a max withdrawal of RP 1 500 000. Definitely not Rp 50 000 only. I think the sign on the ATM means that it only dispenses Rp 50 000 bills. BCA has good withdrawal limits.

All ATM%26#39;s we noticed in Sanur only allowed withdrawl of 1,500,000RP in one transaction... we mainly used the ones outside Hardy%26#39;s.
There is an ATM in Seminyak outside the Bintang supermarket that does allow withdrawl in 100,000RP notes so I guess it would allow you to get 3,000,000RP. We only ended up trying to taking out 2,500,000RP and had no problem.
Worst case you can do two transactions of 1,500,000RP each, the limit for these machines from what I can tell is the amount of notes they can put out in one hit not a daily transaction limit. Only downside to this of course is you will get hit with twice the fees.
Oh and... the 50,000RP sign on machines does mean that it distributes those notes, that is not the limit. If you find a machine with a 100,000RP sign you should be able to get out 3,000,000RP in one transaction.
I mentioned this in another post, but I did find a machine that allows 3 million rp and dispensed in $100,000 rp notes. Sorry don%26#39;t remember name or exact location, it was on Jalan Raya (north side), near jalan hanoman. It was just just outside of a bank.
Sorry, should have mentioned that it was in Ubud.
Just arrived in Ubud today and found two ATM%26#39;s just over the road from Lotus Cafe (one is a Commonweath Bank ATM) that will allow 3,000,000RP withdrawl, dispenses 100,000RP notes
The best ATMs to withdraw large amounts of Cash are Citibank.
Citi ATMs dispense IDR 3 million at a time in IDR 100,000 notes. Its possible to make multiple withdrawals. The max withdrawal amount also depends on any limits set by your bank.
Citi ATMs are conveniently located in the arrival area of NR airport and at the McDonald%26#39;s restaurants at both ends of the NR bypass at Sanur and Jimbaran.
I don%26#39;t believe there is a Citi ATM in Ubud.
You have the option of choosing the amounts shown on the screen, or entering the amount you want to withdraw, same as every other atm.
Big Big Thank you to everyone for your replies. We found and ATM yesterday opposite the market on the Main Road. It is the Lippobank and what a lovely aircondition cubicle (in the bali heat).
