Ummm, yes there is a deaprture tax payable by everyone. It is 150,000IDR per person. Payable only in rupiah. It is very important that you have that amount put aside so that you can get out of the country.
Unlike more western countries, Indonesia%26#39;s taxes are not included as part of the airfare price. You pay it seperately at the airport after check-in and before you go through immigration.
Oh and if you are travelling on Singapore passport you don%26#39;t have to pay the $25USD Visa on Arrival, to my knowledge.
Hi,
Just to confirm Whinnie%26#39;s post above, Singaporeans don%26#39;t need to pay the visa on arrival - and you go to a different immigration queue. If not, your visa will be USD10 because you%26#39;re staying for only a few days.
Thanks Jade, I was sure that I had read that in one of your earlier posts. Didn%26#39;t want to give out false info so I qualified my statement. Glad you could confirm.
hey guys thanks for your prompt reply. Will take note of this. Thanks once again. Cheers
Breeze restaurant is not less than SGD50 - more like that per person plus drinks, if not more. Try some of the restaurants on the beach on Jl Arjuna ( Double 6) - for example, Zanzibar or Lanai - these would be more in your price range I think.
