Suka Beach Inn?

Has anyone stayed here before? I am going to Bali in July for 3 weeks:) .. I know it%26#39;s a budget place. So I am not expecting luxuries.

Just would like to know if it is clean and otherwise decent.

Also, is it worth getting an AC room. I know it will the dry season so I think the a fan would do, but I want to be sure.

Thank You

Jen

hey,

i%26#39;m also going to Bali in july for 1 month and i would probably stay in suka beach inn for a few days so nice to meet u neighbour :D

Hi Jen, i stayed here for a month in 2007. it was recommended by a friend who stays there evry year when they go surfing. i loved it. it was basic yes but the rooms very spacious and big and whatsmore - they got cleaned everyday and sheets changed regularly. I am going back this year and staying there again. breakfast is included but we never ate it as it was a bit rubbish...but you cant complain about the price. the pool is good and never too busy and great location for the beach, night out, cheap restaurants and shopping. Maxi%26#39;s, nextdoor on the left is an amazing mexican restaurant.absolutely lush. I have trravelled extensively all through asia from cambodia to bali and this was one of the cleanest, most spacious and best places I have stayed. go for it...you%26#39;ll have an amzing time there.

Hi, does anyone know how to book this place or is it a case of just turning up?

Ta v much

Yes.. I live there for a long time, it%26#39;s cool and you will get some experience about poeple there. the people majority are hinduism and Beach is a beautiful you can do activities like snorkeling in the shore, diving, etc. don%26#39;t worry about luxuries if you prefer living in the small home it has true atmosphere of the island and don%26#39;t forget to visit other site like Lombok island in the east of Bali it has a beautiful site too there are three small island there like GILI AIR, GILI MENO, GILI TRAWANGAN.. and the most popular place there is GILITRAWANGAN it is number 1 destination of touris.

there is a little TIP for you

during the trip to gili islands don%26#39;t let the local porters carry your bagsfor whatever reason this guys are usually try to be gentle or act like a boatman crew, they often charge an expensive and unreasonable amount if you have to pay, regular porters cost is about Rp 1000/2000/bag.

don%26#39;t buy any mosguitoes coil from some kids at the harbor, as they are trying to sell things to the highest they can, there are a lots of shop selling those stuff with better price...

I thing its enough for your trip. I hope this tip can help you, If you have any questions about Bali/Lombok please don%26#39;t hesitate to contact me..

enjoy your holiday
