There are reviews for the Wina Holiday Villa at the link below:

Your most direct route to Bali from Manchester is with Singapore Air. They fly from Manchester to Singapore, then you get a connecting flight from Singapore to Bali. Cost depends on when you go and how far in advance you book, but average cost is anywhere between 拢600 - 拢1000 for the return flight in economy.

You can probably get there cheaper if you fly with Qatar from Manchester, via Doha and Kuala Lumpur, but it%26#39;s an incredibly long journey. Do a flight search on Expedia for your flights.

hi..would really have a closer look at this hotel..it is not beachfront..its down a laneway off the beach.

there are far better hotels on the beachfront, altho you may have to look around..it depends on what they are charging you as well..it could be a real bargain!!

as travellers with some 212 trips to bali under our belts would recommend you get on the net and check around..dont believe everyone who tells you something about Bali.

cheers

hi could you recommend another hotel beach front in kuta at all then please around 40-50 pounds a room per night ?

Hi....best to search on the net for the best price, as many of the popular Bali hotels are really only sold as part of packages to Australian tourists, and they have to maintain the %26#39;book%26#39; price or the Aussie wholesalers wont guarantee the large number of room nights that in many cases are the bread and butter income of those hotels.

While the %26#39;book%26#39; price (the walk in off the street price) may be au$150 a night the wholesaler actually pays a heap less because they guarantee so many room nights a year.

Most of the hotels are too scared to drop the price to %26#39;walkins%26#39; as if the wholesaler finds out they can lose the contract.

ok..in saying that...i would check with the hotels first..email them and get a price.

Then look around on the net...there are a few places on the net that also get a wholesale price cos they also can guarantee the hotels a heap of room nights.

Try Gibson at info@baliholidayhotels.com

we have dealt with him before and found that they are reliable. He should be able to look around and get you a price. He is based in Bali.Tell him we recommended you.

The hotels we would recommend on the beachfront in Legian, rather than Kuta (as Kuta is very busy and really crowded..better about 3 kms north at Legian where most of the action is now anyway...most of the better restaurants and shops are there, are as follows : all include a full breakfast in the price..

Bali Mandira....this is a good quality hotel..we have stayed there about 12 times and found it to be in an excellent location..they hold a lot of western weddings there and the rooms, while not large, are clean, and good quality.it is on the beach and people from all over the world stay there.Has satellite tv and most of the better rooms attract membership to their club facilities..you pay for it but they have free drinks and other perks in the cost.

Padma Hotel...adjacent to the Mandira...probably more expensive...far larger in size...higher star rating than the Mandira.

Bali Niksoma Hotel..along the beachfront 200 metres...very nice hotel..newer than the above...only thing is that you have to go down a laneway to get to it unless you enter from the beachfront.

Next is the Melasti Beach Resort...about 200 metres north again....not the Melasti Bungalows...they are further away and can be confusing.

A good family hotel that is very popular with Australian tourists altho they do tend to get the %26#39;yobbo%26#39; element there...and can get noisy, with drunken Aussies embarrassing themselves and everyone else there!

Probably two thirds the cost of the Mandira tho..and far less than the others...if you dont mind a bit of noise its good value, cheapest hotel on the beachfront.

Puri Raja Hotel is almost adjacent..all these hotels are in the beach strip....a nice hotel, mid range between the Melasti Beach and the Mandira.

I dont know what the prices are atm as they have had a really good christmas with 80% occupancy at most hotels so they are keeping prices high for a while on the back of a good christmas, however, traditionally, prices drop from April on to about November apart from Australian school holidays when it becomes the high season for a few weeks.

You can expect a drop in prices around the time you are there, but beware that they are trying to get the best prices until they have to drop them when the tourists drop off...so they will probably quote you a price and when you get there find other people have paid far less...

we often take staff with us as a bonus when we go to Bali, and we have just come back..we stayed at a place called Puri Tanah Lot which is about 300 metres from the beach down a laneway in Legian...very central...a laneway that conects to almost everywhere..heaps of smaller hotels around this area...we had three rooms..one for Barb and me and one for each of two staff..a senior lady and a young guy who both work for us...the rooms cost Au $25 a night each with full breakfast..they had tv,HBO station, aircon, swimming pool and very friendly..small but cheap..and to be honest, altho it wasnt on the beachfront, we only slept in the room anyway...so..great value for money.

So you can get cheap rooms, especially those that arent on the Australian wholesale list.

there are a few sites on the net based in Bali that you can get a price from...just look around...

I would think that you could get a deluxe room at the Mandira for around Au$150 a night..but it is a while since i have checked..

Hope this helps

cheers
