Club Med Bali

We%26#39;re currently planning a honeymoon and are considering Bali as the packages are well priced. We like the idea of club med where everything is included but wondered if it gets boring eating/drinking at the same place each day and if it felt like a waste of money eating outside of the hotel.

Is it really worth the extra money as everything is included??

Any opinions would be great!

Thanks

Club Med Bali

It%26#39;s a personal decision - for me, part of the fun of a holiday is sampling the various local bars and restaurants. I%26#39;ve only been on an All Inclusive holiday once in Tunisia; food was buffet style, so you help yourself. So rather than dinner being a relaxed drawn-out way to while away the night, it was generally over in 30 mins. Also this is the only time I%26#39;ve ever had food poisoning on holiday.

Club Med Bali

Have been to CM Bali a couple of times but not since the renovation Personally, for a honeymoon I would go elsewhere- more romantic and more private. You could take in some of Bali and try some great restaurants.

If it was just a regular holiday CM is great- great fun, great food and drinks. I personally dont get bored with the food because I try something different each day/night and dont go over the top with food.

Happy honeymoon.

We are big fans of AIs in Mexico. It%26#39;s great paying for everything in advance and not having to worry about the costs.

However, we%26#39;ve been to Bali once and are going again in May and the AI there isn%26#39;t for us. There are just too many good restaurants and too much to do to do the AI from our point of view.

And I think the previous poster was right, for a honeymoon, you probably want something more romantic.

Club Med on Bali has a great beach - very expansive and private compared to other hotels. Its one of the best on Bali. The other great beach hotels are Conrad, Grand Hyatt, Amanusa (beach club), St Regis.
