I know, wrong forum, but there%26#39;s almost nobody over there at Java/Yogyakarta.
During the last part of June, will we likely need reservations for Borobudur hotels such as Saraswati or Manohara? What%26#39;s the likely airfare from Denpasar to Yogyakarta? Best day to make that flight?
Thanks
George
Borobudur Question
Hi,
Maybe you can try www.balivilla.com and ask Eni. She has arranged for me to go from Bali to Lombok, not Yogya, but at the bottom of the www.balihotels.com website (which is also part of balivilla.com, there is a link to yogya hotels:
http://yogyakartahotels.com/?balihtls
My suggestion of contacting Eni is because she has been working with this company for some time and I have sometimes used her services and she is very helpful.
She might be able to help you out.
I did stay at Yogya and visited Borobudur, but I stayed at the Mercure in Yogya and booked the room from asiarooms.com; and I also didn%26#39;t fly there from Denpasar.
Another alternative is to try the Garuda Website.
Gd Luck.
Borobudur Question
The Manohara is the best because you can make visits to the sitebefore and after opening hours...read quiet contemplative .
best site so far is the itravelindonesia.com/hotel/manoharahotel.aspx
Tickets range from Rp 350 000 to Rp 550 000. depends on whether there%26#39;s a special offer.
No need for guides. Any cab will take you there from Jogja and there are English speaking guides at the site to show you around.
Good luck.

Thanks for that information. Do you have any idea if Manohara is usually booked up during June (last two weeks). I am just wondering if I need to make a reservation in advance. I%26#39;d rather not.
Thanks,
George
