I also have another contact in Medan a young guy by the name of Bob who does take travellers around on tours and would be considerably cheaper than an organised travel agent.

Not so long ago he took a group of 15 Malaysian people on a 3 day trip from Medan to Lake Toba and maybe Brestagi.

He has a big van that carries about 9 people and being Muslim himself is very very aware of the need for HALAL food for a group such as yours.

He has a small website that was built for him by an European client of his.

The quoted price for a 10 day tour seems expensive to me.

Sorry I forgot to say that any prices quoted on Bob%26#39;s website are NOT correct. The person who created his website made up those prices without quoting him and they have never been changed.

Email him and ask him- it will always depend on how many people etc etc.

I have sent you a Private Message.

Bob does not post on travel forums- he does not have the money to go to the internet every day- like most Indonesians who depend on travellers for their income.

For anyone emailing any Indonesian contacts please give them a few days- to one week to reply.

And if you have a mobile phone no. for your contact quickly send them a text to say an email is waiting for them.
