Which hotel should we stay at ?

I%26#39;m travelling to Bali for a short break with my young daughter. Am looking for a 4start plus hotel, on beach, short walk to markets but not in a supper busy spot? Spa and kids club would be good. Can anyone recommend somewhere?

Perhaps you should try Seminyak area they have good beaches and are close enough to Kuta for the odd shopping. In kuta the Ramada Bintang in Tuban is a good choice close to everything but staying in close has its advantages off being able to walk to your hotel to refresh and go out again after a dip in the pool as traffic can be very thick at times as they have alot of 1 way streets and at night if you are to far out they charge a fortune.

I would definately recommend the Dynasty. The kids club is great. Even when your daughter is not in the club, she will enjoy the activities around the pool and finds lots of friends to play with. While she is in the kids club, you can enjoy some quiet time in the adults only area or have a lovely massage.

I have stayed at the dynasty with my daughter when she was 7. She wasnt overly keen on the kids club but that is probably because she goes to holiday program in school holidays and it is a bit like that. SHe did love the pool and met heaps of kids to play with. She is now 9 and we tried to book for our next holiday next week but couldnt get in. The only down side is it was difficult to get a sun lounge around the pool and I have heard that recently there are a lot of people from other hotels who come in and use the pool. It is in a great location for waterbom and Dicovery shopping mall where there is a intecity games place that she loves. We have also stayed at the Jayakarta in legion. SHe enjoyed her stay there even though there were not a lot of other kids. I didnt like it as it was too big for me I like smaller hotels. This trip I will probably take her ot Hard rock for a day as I am told there pool is great and you can hire a cabana to lounge around the pool even when not a guest there. Thought about staying there but not keen on the location.
