Holiday help

Hey guys,

firstly can I say a massive thank you for all the amazing info on this site - researching our honeymoon has been so much fun.

Needs a little advice though, so here goes.

We arrive in Bali and will be spending 4 nights in Tegal Sari in Ubud and that is the only thing we have booked so far - just can%26#39;t decide where else to go.

We like little hotels, that will give us a true feel for the island. No big on massive corporate ones.

We would love to do a 2 day trek up the mountain, any idea who to do this with?

We would also like to spend some time on the gilis.

but am a little lost about what to do in between.

Do you think maybe Ubud/mountain trek/stright to Gilis?? or will we be missing out on some amazing Bali/Lombok country that way?

Sorry to ramble but am just so excited about this trip and want it to be amazing xx

We have been to Bali 3 times in the last 5 years. We have used Floressa Tours to do some side trips, we also have hired a driver/guide to take us on some extra side trips - both have done excellent jobs.

Floress Tours is a local Bali agency.

mertagct@telkom.net - licensed guide and driver. Very reasonable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Give it a try. John

Hi,

Have you considered spending a few days on the east coast. I love Amed, a fishing village which stretches for over 10km along the coast. It%26#39;s a great place to chill out %26amp; relax, the locals are very friendly, good snorkelling directly from the beach %26amp; diving if you%26#39;re interested. Some beautiful scenery if you take a drive around the area. Maybe take a walk through the rice fields near Tirtagangga water gardens. Several other places you can visit, can give you more details of places/activities %26amp; hotels.very few shops %26amp; no ATM%26#39;s in the area.
