Hi all, I%26#39;ll be staying at the Laguna in Nusa Dua this May/June and was wondering about prices in the area. Can someone who has traveled to Nusa Dua / Bali tell me about how much money per day I should bring for food, drinks and activities? What does a typical restaurant meal cost in a Bali restaurant? What does a meal cost in a five star hotel in Nusa Dua?

Nusa Dua / Bali expenses
The last time I stayed at Laguna in Nusa Dua, a meal for one cost around $20-30 not including drink. Other hotels of similar standard in the area charge about that much.
If you go outside of the Nusa Dua tourist enclave, I heard the prices are much lower.
A lot of things in Bali are pegged to the US$, so it really depends on what kind of travel style you would like to have while you are there. Bali can cost highly if you stay at the five star luxury resort or very low if you venture out.
