Bali with a 16 month old

Hi there,

We are planning to go to Bali in early September with our boy (he will be 16 months old then) and are looking for a nice place to stay.

We do not want to be in Kuta but are looking for a hotel/villa which has the following:

- near or on the beach

- kids pool

- short walk from reasonably price local resataurants

- inter-connecting family suite/rooms or 2 bedroom villa.

- Baby friendly but not too huge/touristy if you know what I mean.

We don%26#39;t need budget but are looking at 3* +

i suggest you look at hotels in sanur it is a good spot for families. some good beach front hotels to consider are

bali hyatt, puri santrian, griya santrian, mercure, sanur beach hotel, or besakih. for hotels close to the beach and therefore less cost but family friendly take a look at pondok ayu, sanur beach villas, stana puri gopa, villa puri ayu, tamukami just to name a few. plenty of restaurants and shopping in sanur and it is much quieter than kuta. the beach is calm and more suitable with a young child.
