I am considering staying in Nusa Dua in July and would like to see Borobudur if possible. Are there day trips from the major hotels in Nusa Dua (i.e. Club Med) for a day trip and how much would it cost? Is it worth the trouble to see it in 1 day from Nusa Dua? I%26#39;m assuming it would include a flight to and from Borobudur. Thanks for any helpful information.
Borobudur day trip
Hope this may be of some help.. We booked a half day trip from Bali to Yogyakarta (normal trip is full day) you need to get up early for the full day trip - a flight takes about 1.5 hrs by memory. We paid with our agent back here in Australia and the cost was quoted in USD 87.00 each if two are travelling or $127.00 if single traveller . Well worth the trip. It is such a beautiful serene place and the view from the top is amazing - I have posted some pics.. Be aware of the hawkers who pounce on you straight away. A great sense of humour along with loads of polite no%26#39;s. The trip from the airport in Yogyakarta to the temple takes about 2hrs. The views along the way are great. Some tours take you to batik factorys a Hindu temple and include lunch. I am sure your hotel can organize. Enjoy your trip
