travelling with 12yr old and 9yr old which resort?

We are looking to visit seminyak in july for 10 days. Which accom would you recommend? We would like to be on the beach or very close. The very quiet couples hotel won%26#39;t suit however we do want luxury accom. Any suggestions? thanks

If you are really looking for luxury and the beach then you should go to the Legian Hotel in Seminyak. Alternatively you could have a look at the Sofitel which is also right on the beach.

Hi I have stayed in seminyak 3 times and have been spoilt by the Legian, it is our favourite hotel total luxury, we took out 10 and 12 yo they loved it but they dont mind quiet and no kids club, the staff were fantastic and we felt very safe there. Maybe with the kids it would be better at the Sofitel because it is bigger still looks nice, i walked thru and had a look would be my second choice, to me the legian is the hotel but of course more expensive.

The best luxury hotels in Seminyak will probably not suit the kids too much if they want to make noise.

Have a look at the Samaya but I would recommend you stay in slightly less expensive resorts like the Mandira , Padma and even Jayakarta as they are much more child friendly.

You can always take a suite.

You might like to check out the new, Breezes which was once the Contiki, but now aiming at families.
