How is the beach in front of Rama Beach Resort & Villas

I am wanting to go and stay at Rama in May but last time I was there the beach nearby was a mess (or lack of a beach)

I hear they are restoring this, has someone been there recently to tell me what is happening there.

Hi Kajim, I stayed at the rama beach resort in January.

There is a nice beach pathway now and they have cleaned up the beach as well. However when you first aproach the pathway down from behind the hotel there is a lot of rubbish accumulated from the locals leaving it there. It%26#39;s fine once you are on the path. There is a picture of the path here:

HI Kajim, we love Rama Beach and always stay there. Was there in June 08 and November 08 and in June it was terrible after the huge washaway that they had but was absolutely thrilled on returning in November to see that they have completely refilled the beach with sand that has been dredged and is looking absolutely amazing. The sea has also been pushed back somewhat and the beach is much wider which has also resulted in the water becoming deeper directly off the shore and you no longer have to walk out miles to swim. Pantai Restaurant on the beach (my absolute best) has also been restored after the washaway and is once again the best place to eat in Tuban. Enjoy!!!
