Family Accommodation in Legian

Hi there,

We are taking our children to Bali for 6 nights from July 15, 2009. We have 5 children ranging in age from 2 to 10 years old.

We had thought about staying at some of the less expensive villas ($160 per night) however they all seem to have an unfenced pool right alongside the back door. This is lovely, except our 2 year old can%26#39;t swim.

Can anyone suggest well priced family accommodation in Legian to accommodate a family the size of ours that has a pool but not right at the back door or with a fence

Hello - just thought I would suggest the Jayakarta - they may have the type of accomodation to suit your needs. We hope to travel in September this year and have been doing a lot of research of hotel types - we were looking at accomodation with plunge pools but now going away fromt hat idea. From the websites the Jayakarta has 3 pools - hope this helps!

Location looks great too.

The losari is very ppular with Aussies traveling with kids. Its smack in Legian within walking distance to the beach.

You are going to struggle to find hotel pools with fences. A smaller style hotel might better suit your family. I would have a look at Puri Raja or (next door) Maharta. Both are situated right on the Legian beachfront. I wouldn%26#39;t look at Losari - it%26#39;s too far to walk to the beach for the little ones.
