kids club

We are going to bali in oct for 12 nights with 2 children 4 and 7. I know that dynasty has a great kids club but it is a bit out of our price range. Does anyone know what Febris kids club is like? We are tossing up between Febris and Bali Garden...Any help would be much appreciated.

kids club

i stayed at the febris and there was a small room for younger children that was air conditioned and had a few things to play on. not a kids club by any means. cannot compare this to the dynasty kids club. there were no staff to supervise the kids in this room. quite safe though. the pool was great. large with a smaller section for younger kids. often my youngest would be the only one in the kids room playing. you get a key from reception to access the room.

the febris is a very good hotel, very clean, quite %26#39;new%26#39; and a good buffet breakfast. really good value for money. the family rooms are large. it is a short stroll to the beach from here.

bali garden hotel is beach front and has some recent renovations. the beach front area is lovely. both hotels are close to each other. at the time i booked i found febris a better price for our group as we could fit 5 people in a family room. best to e mail both hotels and get a quote, may help you to decide.

have you thought about dividing your time between a couple of different areas in bali?

kids club

thanks heaps for your reply. iam leaning towards bali garden the pools look fantastic on the website. Do you know if u have to be a guest at a hotel to use the kids club? Pay a fee etc....

We%26#39;ve asked the question or many hotels, and you do have to be a guest to use their kids clubs. Some kids clubs are unsupervised such as Febri%26#39;s, and others also have a charge for using the kids clubs which mounts up pretty quick such as the new Holiday Inn. The best value hotel with a kids club we%26#39;ve found is the Harris Resort in Legian. Free kids club, clown entertains at breakfast. kids swimming pool and water slide, cool flying fox over the swimming pool, spas, %26amp; good location for the beach, restaurants.

Thanks for that info I haven%26#39;t heard of Harris Resort before sounds great for kids. I%26#39;ve had a look at website couldn%26#39;t really see what rooms are like. Do they have family rooms or do you have to get interconecting? What is price like? Did you book direct with hotel or through a agent? Thanks in advance...

I have stayed at the Patra Bali last year with my 2 kids. 6 n 10. They really enjoyed the kids club. We stayed at the Deluxe Suite. It has a sliding door that separates the kids and us. They have 2 tvs. Nice bathrooms. But I prefer breakfast at Dynasty. But they seems to be very pricey now. Other hotels with kids club will be Hard Rock Kuta, Kartika Plaza,Kuta Paradiso(small kids club). Febri%26#39;s has only a play room.Padma at Legian.

Hi again. We booked direct. We find it easier via email than over the phone, altho they take a few days to respond. I think you can also book on their web site. I think they had economical family rooms around the size of a normal hotel room which sleep 4, and then larger %26#39;family suites%26#39; that are like two rooms with an open archway between. All refurbished, very modern, nice and clean. Make sure you look at the Kuta resort, not the Tuban hotel(no kids club at the Tuban hotel). Hope this helps!
