anyone here book from Agoda.com?

They are reliable enough.. albeit not cheap.. look out for their hidden charges!.... also be aware that they have affiliate sites... such as planetholiday, precisionreservations and others. Usually asiarooms have much better rates.

anyone here book from Agoda.com?

thank you!

i find them too tricky in there pricing ...they tell you 1 price in your selected currency , then after they add all there charges and taxes ';'; per day ';'; they display it in USD total ......if you convert it back to your currency , it ends up heaps dearer than the first price theygive you .

its all just tactics to me , so i refuse to book with them .

http://www.balihotels-bali.com/ seem to have better rates , but i also havent used them yet .

cheers

Hi

Recently used them to book Thailand accommodation. They were cheapest on both hotels (although you pay up front). I like the real time chat function- we were able to clarify a couple of details immediately. I also like the swiftness of their communication by email- initially confirmations then the vouchers. No probs with the credit card payments.

In Bali have used 2 companies as well as direct hotel deals. One is Bali Discovery and the other is http://www.travelethos.com/hotels/Bali - they used to have the Bali and Lombok forum, that has now been redesigned and this link is their new accommodation link. They are very competitive. I also like their feedback system where travellers rate the hotels.

i didn%26#39;t knew much, about agoda . com but, i had booked my stay through http://crystalholidaysindia.blogspot.com i guess this is a agoda affiliated site, but i was happy to get the best rate, and more i came to know that the site had tie-up with american express (AMEX) . oerall it give you good rate and its safe.

Yes!

Yes I use the often and they are good.I also use Asia Rooms and usually go with who ever has the cheapest price.

Agoda offers reward points which do add up if you use them regularily and can be redeemed against future hotel bookings.I think 10,000 points = USD 20
