Weather in January - lousy or ok

Our daughter is getting married in January and is thinking of honeymooning in Bali then. My wife and I have always holidayed in bali mid year when weather is good so we cant offer any advice. Can someone who has been there in jan pls tell me if it is horribly wet and to be avoided? Or is it typical tropics wher it pours at night but ok in daytime?

Weather in January - lousy or ok

Well no one can predict the weather but this year it was mostly rain or storms at night and early morning and fining up later, about mid morning. We did not have to alter any of our plans this year at all due to weather.

Both times I have been to Bali, was in early Feb. It%26#39;s quite humid at that time, but that rain didn%26#39;t seem to put a dampner on any of our plans. We still managed to go on some tours. There were a couple of downpours in the early afternoon, but they seemed to clear up before dinner. There was also a bit of overnight showers. Still very enjoyable though! :) We%26#39;re planning to go over Jan / Feb next year!

It can really really pour rain during Jan. It causes occasional floods in Legian, Seminyak and on the NR Bypass.

Sometimes the rain will last for a day or two, then subside. It does seem to rain more at night than day. The airport occasionally closes for short periods of time when vis goes to zero.

Go to youtube and search ';bali rain'; to see for yourself.

Despite the downpours, I go to Bali every year in Dec/Jan and don%26#39;t have a problem with it.
