Many outlets around Bandung, nice Sunda food, delicious and yummy on the stomach and wont hurt your pocket - most outlets are clean. Best outlet in town is along jl Sukajadi just down the road from Hotel Sukajadi

Do you really think the Holiday Inn at about rp800,000 is a good tip for budget travellers?

As a back packer my budget for accomodation is usually about 50,000.

By Moritz is where I stayed in May this year- most rooms are about 77,000 and quite small.

I stayed up the top in the rooms with their own bathrooms ( there are two) that are 100,000 each with their own private garden.

It was excellent value.

Have stayed in a hotel near the train station but for 60,000 the room was unbelievably small.

Can anyone list any other half decent accomodation in Bandung for around 50-80,000 rupiah for back packers like me?

Rumah Tawa looks very nice. How far is it from Dago and Riau?

Dago is quite a distance, but Riau by car could be 15-20 mins away
