I see New Zealand have cancelled their game in Jakarta.

I understand it%26#39;s to do with safety concerns surrounding the coming legislative elections.

Whats the feeling about this in Jakarta?

As some of you may well know i%26#39;ve booked to see Man United play in July and naturally i%26#39;m wondering if this may have a knock on effect for that game or is it just unfortunate scheduling on the authorities behalf?

There%26#39;s no news about cancelling the game in the UK but i was wondering if there%26#39;s been any whispers over there?

Cheers

overall safety wise still Ok and under good control now. All safety precaution has been taken for the upcoming election. Actually nobody can really predict what will be happening next, but I am sure the government will do their best to put everything under good control.

No news as well about the match and seemed it is under schedule

From time to time pop artists and singers do cancel their shows scheduled in Jakarta for security and safety concerns. David Coperfield was canceled twice (twice the tickets were sold and resold), Rihana was canceled three times already. BUT No info on canceling MU match now.

And elections will proceed (and end) in April, so will all electoral activity.
