Bali (Kuta) Accommodation

I%26#39;m looking for a good deal accommodation wise for a weeks holiday in Bali with my 15 yo daughter. I want a/c, pool and preferably Bali-style decor within a walk from Kuta.

Anyone got some ideas? Or what to steer away from? I don%26#39;t want to be dissapointed but I want to book before I leave home.

Also any other holiday tips? I haven%26#39;t been on a holiday in years so it better be a good one!!

Bali (Kuta) Accommodation

maybe if going for a week you should speak to your travel agent re-package deals as there are heaps for bali.

Bali (Kuta) Accommodation

We are going to Bali tomorrow we are staying at the Masa Inn in Poppies 1 they have two pools and A/ C we are staying in a Balnese style room we had a look around the place when we where there last time and liked what we saw they have a web sight so you can have a look.

we have just returned last week we stayed at kuta town houses in poppeys lane one it is a top hotel and is run by a aussie rooms are the best we have ever stayed in and we will return there later in the year. there is 2 pools the rooms are non bali style decor they are verey modern and as new even have a large fridge in every room they have a web site chec it out you wont be disapointd. as for location ther are so many good resturants at your door or eat in there own resturant top food and there is no tax on food or alchol.at the hotel and is within walking distance to kuta square poppies lane 2 .bemoes corner or the night life the beach is about 300 meters walk hope this helpes kobrob

Try the Satriya Cottages, a little Balinese oasis just off the Kuta beach or if you want more people for your daughter to interact with the Bali Garden Hotel. They are both quite Balinese in architecture and have nice grounds, gardens, pools etc.

Stay away from the Bounty , Troppo Zone and the Barong as they have a large contingency of teens wanting to party hard. :)

Is that good enough? :)

We are an retired couple and stayed at Masa Inn in Kuta for 5 nights and towards the end of our bali stay another 3 nights in late Feb. Their management of this place is impecable for the price you pay. To get further away from traffic noise on Poppies Lane I, request for rooms in the back like 200 to 2006. The pool there is larger. In the 100%26#39;s it%26#39;s a different area, smaller pool, more intimate but both areas have their own charm. They also have Balinese style rooms for anothe 50K Rp. The breakfast is simple and sufficient and you can get served under umbrellas on the lawn. No wifi. But they have a clothes rack to dry your towels or swim gear.

Small beer bar sells Bintang cheaper than the restos and Circle K convenience store. They will deliver to the pool area or your room.

The lawns are like putting greens!, with Balinese statues, murals and exotic plants like pomegranite scattered over the grounds.

We will go back in a flash. The place is 34 years old, 49 uniformed staff and no wrinkles anywhere !
