To go or not to go?

Hi Guys,

I was thinking of visiting Singapore for 4 days (3 nights) and spending 10-nights nearby for a beach vacation with lots of sun, spa%26#39;s, restaurants and some culture..

Can you recommend going to Bintan for this? or should i consider a different place that is still nearby Singapore?

Please advice.

Bintan is not worth the 10 night vacation.!!!1 night OK

With 10 night make it to elsewhere

A secluded island off Padang

or Bali a very touristy Island

If you prefer somewhere secluded, away from the bustling city, and wanted to fully relax, I%26#39;d say give Bintan a go.

Yes I would definitely go. Bintan is a bit light on shopping and culture but if you are just keen to chill out then it works well. Some of the best golf courses in Asia are on Bintan. Also if you have 10 days try and get outside of the resorts area (down the east coast or to bustling Tanjung Pinang) where you will get a better taste of the real indonesia.

i wouldn%26#39;t spend 10 days in bintan! maybe just a 3 days or so...

maybe we could help each other? i mis-booked a holiday to bintan (i thought i%26#39;d do the booking, but my partner booked as well) and so now i have a 3D2N trip spare, for bintan lagoon resort, 21st march - 23rd march, in case anyone%26#39;s interested.
