Hotels - Parapat, Brastagi & Medan

Hi,

We (6 of us) are traveling to Medan in October 2009. At the moment I am considering these hotels:-

- Hotel Siantar, Parapat (1 night)

- Hotel Danau Toba, Brastagi (1 night)

- Hotel Semarak, Medan (2 nights)

I would love to hear a %26#39;true story%26#39; from anyone who is familiar with these hotels. Any views? Or is there any other hotel that anyone could recommend?

I wouldn%26#39;t stay in Parapat, but I would take a boat to Tuk Tuk and stay there. There%26#39;s really nothing to see or do in Parapat. The only useful thing in Parapat is the ATM-machine.
