Suitcases in Bali

There are 6 of us traveling to Bali soon and so I don%26#39;t wont to have to take 6 empty cases to bali, Can you buy cases in Bali the usual size ones, cheap? and how much in Oz

Suitcases in Bali

Don%26#39;t take them empty. Fill them up with sheets, good clothes, shoes, books, jigsaws, soft toys etc for the orphanages there.

Suitcases in Bali

Yeah we do the same we all use our baggage allowance to take gifts and donations.

But if you don%26#39;t want to do that, you can buy duffle bags quite cheaply from most markets and shops, in all different sizes. The quality isn%26#39;t top notch but they will get your stuff home.

We bought suitcases at the Mataharie (sp?)store a couple of years ago.Unfortunatly it fell apart on the next trip to Bangkok. Piece by piece, little by little. I have now had to throw it away but it served a purpose at the time. Just do not expect fantastic quality. It did look good though

i am the same as the above posters - my suitcases are just as heavy going to Bali as they are coming home - there is no such thing as wasted, empty suitcases. Yes, you can buy cheap suitcases in Bali, in Matahari or in Discovery centre or any other department store.

Ok guys im actually planning on that I already have 2 full cases full, I just did%26#39;nt want to say the rest, but im not planning on any person just when i get there so who is there that i can unload the things i have i was thinking of this school on my bike tour but if there are any others let me know i love doing that

I have just packed 30kgs of stuff to give away to local people. our own luggage is only 10kgs to take over, so why not use your total luggage allowance taking over as well as return. Clothes from myself husband and son, linen, kids toys, shoes handbags, even makeup and nailpolish they love. Anything that we no longer use, but has many more days of use we take over. We just give to people in hotels, ladies on the beach and other people we meet on our travels. Thy are so appreciative. Of course dont give stuff that you wouldnt wear yourself. Why take empty suitcases when its a chance to have a cleanout and give to people that really need and appreciate.
